Most DT deliveries starting in the early AM you will either be driving to your first stop the night before and taking a reset or driving in the early morning to make on tire delivery. From there you will deliver throughout the day to multiple DT stores.
Drivers will average around 1300 to 1800 miles per week while being home every week and still make a lot more money then OTR drivers who stay out 3 weeks and have to drive 3000 miles a week. Drivers will run an average of 3 to 4 loads per week with an average of 4 to 6 stops per load.
PAY: You get paid multiple ways: Mileage pay, Stop Pay and unload pay. Up to .80 CPM for experienced drivers and the lowest pay is .70 CPM so no matter what you will be paid at a great rate. You also get paid a whopping $240 for each trailer you unload and $25 per stop along with an extra $50 for every backhaul.
Let’s run the numbers so you can see how you can easily earn almost $2000 a week with 4 trailers to unload a week. (Talk about a sweet touch freight job where you hardly have to work that hard to earn almost $2000 a week while staying healthy and getting exercise.
If you drive 1300 miles at the lowest rate of .70 CPM that is $910 for the miles that week. If you haul 4 loads during the whole week and get paid $960 ($240 per load) You get paid $25 for every stop. Now if we go with an average of 5 stops per load that is 15 stops for the week for just 3 loads. That is an additional $375 stop pay. You also get paid $50 for each back haul. As you can see this adds up to over $2000 a week. ($2245.00)

After that you will be home every week and most weekends, that is just for the first two weeks so we can get you some training for this job. We are going to how you how the job works, not hot to drive a truck. How to unload in 20 minutes instead 2 hours, how to back into tight parking lots etc. As soon as you are activated, you will be sent directly to Warrensburg, MO to report for training. Drivers WILL seat a truck with a current DT Driver so that you can learn the ropes.*

REQUIREMENTS: Class A CDL with at least 3 to 6 months Tractor Trailer Experience in the last 3 years. Experience must be tractor trailer experience with trailers over 40 feet in length.
