GET YOUR CLASS A LICENSE WITH NO UP FRONT MONEY FROM YOU
If you already have your Class A License Click “HERE”:
If you want to get your Class A License but don’t have the money go to a truck school then we can train you and help you get your license in return for your agreement to drive for our company for a period of time after you get your license to repay the truck school debt by working it off.
TRUCK SCHOOL ACADEMY PROGRAM
This is a contract that you make to pay us back for our help sending you to Truck School.
This is not a Contract to Work for us, it is a contract with the Academy and we will help pay the debt if you drive for our company.
You don’t start paying for Academy AFTER Mentor Training, that is when the Payroll Deductions Start. The Deductions last for 53 weeks, then the Balloon Payment is then paid off by the Terminal.
If the Driver Leaves our company prior to the 53 months, they are responsible to pay ALL the remaining Balance to us, including the Balloon Payment.
Here is the Summary Breakdown. Lodging, if needed is 35 Dollars a week, deducted for 37 Weeks for a Total of $1,295. This does not come out of your pocket up front it is part of the loan that you will pay back.
Academy Loan of $3900 is paid back by us deducting 75 Dollars a week for 53 Weeks for a Total of 3,900, the remaining Balance of 4,095 is paid by the Terminal of Hire. If Drivers choose to stay with us for 78 Weeks, they will receive ALL their money back with the exception of Lodging.
The Housing Deduction from the Driver is paid out at $35 a week for 37 weeks for a total amount of $1295.
Your terminal will cover the rest of the $4095 on week 53.
NOTE: Food, Fees for Permit and CDL Testing and such are ALL covered by the Student. The only meals provided by us during truck school and during orientation will be the Continental Breakfast by the Hotel.
So you will need a little bit of money for food etc I recommend at least $300 to $400 to get you through the 4 weeks you will spend at the Academy getting your license. If you show up for training with no money in your pocket you will starve, so make sure you borrow or have available some funds when you arrive for truck school.
We will pay for your transportation to the Truck School in your area that we send you to.
The only realistic option for you once you get your License and become a “Recent Grad” is that you will be out over the road out for 2 to 3 weeks at a time.
Remember you must get this experience to qualify for the local or home weekly jobs so take the opportunity we are offering you to start your career.
If you are stuck on a local or home weekly job right out of the gate then this program won’t work for you, you have to understand in the Trucking business the home daily and weekly jobs require you to have Over the Road Experience first.
Very few companies hire recent grads for local jobs or even home weekly jobs, they often require at least 6 to 12 months of experience and this is the way to get that experience.
You must get your Class A Commercial Learner’s Permit before you can attend our truck school. This permit that authorizes the holder to practice driving a commercial vehicle on public roads while a qualified CDL holder supervises them.
It is not difficult for you to get that permit you take that at your local DMV. You must be 21 years old:
One of the first steps you should take when obtaining your CLP or CDL is to find your state’s CDL manual. This manual is available online or at your DMV location.
These manuals are packed with helpful information for drivers, including:
-
Testing information.
-
CDL requirements.
-
Safe driving practices.
-
Cargo and passenger transportation rules.
-
Other unique driving resources.
Reading and following the instructions in your state’s CDL manual can help you streamline the process of obtaining your CLP and CDL. Every state has its own manual – you can find your state’s doing quick search online.
Remember you need to apply for the CLASS A Permit not a Class B or C permit.
Apply for a CLP.
You can usually apply for a CLP in person or online. If you plan to apply in-person, be sure to call your Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) ahead of time to find out if you need to make a reservation before applying.
CLP costs may vary based on your state. You can expect to pay a Learner’s Permit Application Fee of upwards of $20 but might be more in your state.
Prove your identity at the DMV.
Before you can take your CLP test, you’ll need to prove your identity. Some states may require you to bring in one or more of the following forms of identification:
-
Valid driver’s license.
-
Proof of Social Security number (i.e., Social Security card, payroll check stub, W-2 form, etc.)
-
Proof of U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency or non-domicile document (i.e., bill or statement with your full name and address, valid U.S. passport, birth certificate, U.S. military document, marriage certificate, etc.)
Specific requirements vary by state, so be sure to research your DMV’s requirements before you go in for your test.
Take the Commercial Learner’s Permit exam.
Before you can obtain a CLP, you’ll have to pass a knowledge test. You will need to earn at least an 80% on the exam to pass.
What’s covered on the CLP exam?
A basic learner’s permit exam consists of three main sections:
-
General knowledge: Covers the basics of driving and transporting cargo safely.
-
Air brakes: Consists of questions about the air brake systems on a truck.
-
Combination vehicles: Focuses on safe driving and inspections of tractor-trailers.
How long is the CLP test?
The number of questions on a CLP test can vary from state to state, but drivers can usually expect the test to consist of the following:
-
General knowledge section: 50 questions.
-
Air brakes section: 20-25 questions.
-
Combination vehicles section: 20-25 questions.
-
TRUCK SCHOOL WILL TAKE ABOUT 4 WEEKS TO COMPLETE THEN YOU WILL GO OUT WITH A MENTOR FOR ANOTHER 4 WEEKS, THEN YOU WILL BE RELEASED TO DRIVE SOLO.
-
Once you get your Class License you will attend orientation and go out with a trainer to start your trucking career.
- THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO FINALLY GET A JOB IN THE TRUCKING INDUSTRY
(We are NOT accepting truck school applications out of FL, MN, ND, SD, Maine or NYC)
Most drivers will stay within Their area of the country. For instance, Drivers on the East Coast normally will not drive past I-35 and Drivers on the West Coast normally will only go as far East as NM and Colorado. No Coast-to-Coast Driving.
If you are stuck on only a local or home weekly job most likely you will continue to be unemployed for a long time.
Once you are hired, this job includes full benefits and is a W2 position. Health Care, Dental, Vision, 401K matching, Paid Vacation etc. Starts just 30 days after you are hired. You are officially hired once you get your Class A License, and complete Orientation which is normally just a couple of days.
