We are hiring Owner Operators from the hiring areas on the map below.  That includes several areas that are very tough to to find jobs in at this current time. 

All our loads, are no touch freight, mainly drop and hook options.  Home time is up to you but we prefer you stay out at least 10 days to 2 weeks so you can get the miles and make more money.    NO FORCED DISPATCH!

O/O Owners are not required to get truck insurance or base plates through us but we do offer great rates and you can save a lot of money running under our authority. 

Trucks onboarding for this job have to be a 2000 model year or newer & have to be able to pass an FMCSA annual inspection. 

Physical Damage and Bobtail based on the value of the truck, Occupational Accident, Base plates  (Always cheaper for you to run under our authority)

WE do not charge for:

  • Qualcomm usage or installation
  • Fuel Card
  • Cargo insurance
  • Liability Insurance
  • Transflo Services
  • Permits and IFTA
  • WE WILL advance fuel
  • Contractor purchases fuel at our network fuel provider
  • Contractor purchases outside our fuel network
    • Provided fuel vendor accepts EFS
    • Fuel discounts do not apply
  • WE deduct any fuel tax assessed to US and not collected from Contractor at the pump

Fuel tax settlements are quarterly

INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR ON-BOARDING

Owner Operators should expect the on-boarding process to take a minimum of three working days.

Factors that play into this are:

  • Shop work load
  • Truck condition
  • Paperwork is provided by owner operator (scanned in by the recruiter prior to onboarding)
    • Title or title application in owner’s name
    • Most recent 2290 (IRS form, Heavy Highway Vehicle Use Tax Return)
    • Bill of sale
    • Most recent registration and contact information for the lien holder
    • Removal of old DOT regulated decals such as DOT number, IFTA, etc. to include former company identifying decals such as name and or unit number

O/O should be informed that  our employees will not remove any decals for them. It is solely the responsibility of the O/O or their driver to do so.

Owners will need documentation of an FMCSA annual inspection prior to onboarding a new truck. The inspections will need to meet the following requirements:

  1. The FMCSA annual inspection was performed within the preceding 30 days to on-boarding.
  2. The inspection was performed by an authorized truck manufacturer dealership (Volvo/Freightliner/ Peterbilt /KW),  a TA / Petro, Love’s Truck Center.
  3. All inspection forms must be in accordance with FMCSR 396.21(a) AND marked as PASS.
  4. Owners must provide the completed annual inspection form(s) for their maintenance file.

INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR (HAVE TRUCK) SIGN-ON BONUS

Independent contractors are eligible for a per truck $500.00 sign-on bonus.  The bonus will be paid to the owner a first settlement. In situations where a new owner operator team is hired both members of the team are eligible to receive the $500 sign-on bonus. The bonus will be paid to the owner on first settlement.

MISC

  • If Contractor elects to use a Pre-Pass device there will be a $15.75 monthly Pre-Pass administration fee.
    • Contractor pays ALL Tolls, deducted weekly from settlement.
    • No forced dispatch, 
    • Base plates provided with a $50 weekly settlement deduction until full cost is recuperated. If Contractor terminates agreement prior to full payment an additional 12 weeks or $600 will be deducted from the weekly settlement.
    • NO TRAILER RENTAL FEES

Owner Operators will be able to utilize our hotels for orientation.     We will cover the cost the same as a company driver.

Numbers below are just estimates for planning purposes actual numbers can and will vary.  Purposely we have gone super conservative on the these number so you don’t go broke.

PAY IS $1.05 + FSC currently around .43 CPM so almost $1.50 CPM.   BUT you must keep in mind  that We pay ALL miles…loaded and empty, Fuel surcharge is paid on all loaded miles, Fuel surcharge is based on the DOE national average cost per gallon as released weekly.     See numbers below for a break down of income and expenses and net for each week. 

We have plenty of freight for you to haul so if you want to put your truck to work this is a good opportunity for you.   Steady miles, and we do have a lot of Dedicated jobs that pop up that we can move you into as they become available in your area.

FUEL COSTS ARE DEDUCTED FROM THE WEEKLY SETTLEMENT, not paid upfront by the driver

REQUIREMENTS: Class A CDL and at least 3 to 6 months of verifiable OTR driving in the past 12 months or one year (12 months) of a combination of OTR/Regional/Local in the past three (3) years.

Experience must have been in a Class A tractor, towing a 40′ trailer(s) or longer.  Must have a Class A CDL.
