We have a very unique FLEXT job hauling auto parts for Honda and we need Flex drivers must be willing to run both solo and team routes. For the most part you will be home every day, there could be situations where you are out overnight but if that happens we will put you up in a hotel, you never have to sleep in the truck.
Flex drivers are responsible for filling in for drivers who are out sick, on vacation, etc. Work consists of delivering aftermarket parts (lose package pieces i.e. hoods, bumpers,
doors, etc.) to Honda dealerships.
If on a night route the driver will be given the keys to unlock the gate/doors at dealership. They are responsible for unloading the trailer, scanning in the new load being delivered, picking up returns
and locking the dealership back up before heading out. Drivers must be comfortable maneuvering a tractor-trailer in tight corridors in car lots in (primarily in Chicago at night).
This is a more challenging route – the ideal drivers will be comfortable with city driving (Chicago) as they frequent the city often.
YES did I mention you will never make less then $1550 a week for any team driving you do and never less then $1350 for solo driving is guaranteed but you could make more a lot more then that.

If you do end up covering for a Team driver, this isn’t like you are stuck with the same driver like a home weekly or monthly team driver 24/7. You will both be in the truck during your shift and then head home so a totally different type of Team experience.
You will be delivering after market automotive parts to dealerships. (HONDA) You will be home daily running Monday – Friday
The fact is Many drivers are having health problems due to lack of exercise, so here is a great solution to keep you in shape and get paid a lot of money to do so and it’s very light freight. You will have to get out of the truck, stretch and get some exercise by touching some freight. (Remember there are two of you to do this)
Here’s how it works, you will be running auto parts to customer dealerships after hours. Touch freight, unattended deliveries. Drivers will be given keys, will unload (electric pallet jack, small cart on wheels sometimes), scan load being delivered, lock up and go. Dry Van with a Liftgate
1500 Solo / 3000 Team Miles – Averages 8 stops but remember we guarantee you will never make less then $1550 for Teams and $1350 for solo drivers so miles don’t really matter. For a local home daily job with weekends off this is just nuts.
Shift is Monday through Friday night and night driving is involved. You start around 5:30 PM to 0300 AM when there is hardly any traffic. Home time depends on the route they are on. Could be running solo or team. Depending on how far they live from Davenport could see home daily/nightly. Flex drivers will be home Saturday night – Sunday night – Guaranteed weekend home time. Start back out Monday PM
SHIFT TIMES: NIGHT DRIVING when the traffic is very light is required for this job. Shift times are 10-15 hours, depending on the day. Both drivers home every day after their shift . Home daily, off Saturday afternoon through Monday morning.
Lanes: You could end up running in IA, IL, IN, KS, MN, MO, ND, SD, NE, WI (could cover any of the domiciles as needed. If you do have to stay overnight due to traffic, weather etc, we would put you up in a hotel if needed. – A lot of Chicago driving.
You can earn more then the $1550 guarantee obviously for teams or the $1325 for solo drivers. We pay mileage pay starting at .72 CPM (.36 for each driver)
Stop Pay – All stop excluding Final: $13.00 Single, $15.00 Team Spilt. Delay pay $18.54 per hour solo and $9.27 per hour team after 15 min free time (does not pay at stop
unless it is a dealer caused delay
Plus Stop pay of $15.00, Delay pay of $15.54 per driver. But remember it doesn’t matter if the truck breaks down, if there are weather issues etc you are guaranteed to be paid, what could be sweeter then that option? This is the way all Truck Driving jobs should be guaranteed pay.
New Hire Transition Bonus: $500– paid in full on second paycheck

REQUIREMENTS: Class A CDL and at least 3 to 6 months of verifiable driving in the past three (3) years.
Experience must have been in a Class A tractor, towing a 40′ trailer(s) or longer. Must have a Class A CDL.

Drivers must be comfortable with maneuvering in downtown Chicago
The physical requirement is handling, positioning and securing delivery roller cages and lifting
loose boxed parts on the floor and overhead in trailer attic on/off trailer in/out of dealership.
Weight lift/handling range 40 -75 lbs.
NOTE: Tight backing maneuvers required at dealerships. Night driving will be required.
Fairly clean MVR and Background. NO RECENT GRADS AND NO SAP DRIVERS.
