You don’t have to drive 3000 miles to make this kind of money, sit in traffic for hours, sit at truck stops eating greasy food, nope you will know exactly when you are going to leave home and when you are getting back and what your route is going to be that week. You will drive around 1700 miles a week.
HOME TIME: 90% of the time you will end up with Sundays off and most of Monday off, but days off vary based on freight demands. We cannot guarantee weekends off, but We do get you home weekly.
You won’t be driving at night for the most part, Start time is usually around 6 AM.
The fact is Many drivers are having health problems due to lack of exercise, so here is a great solution to keep you in shape and get paid a lot of money to do so. This is not your normal touch freight job that is for sure.
So yes this is a touch freight job Dollar Store job, but you only unload, you never have to load the truck, just unload. This is a job driving for Family Dollar probably one of the best of the Dollar Store chains to deliver for.
Trailers will be preloaded DC to store deliveries. Drivers will primarily make multi-stop deliveries to stores, and then reload dunnage returns back to the DC.
- Drivers on this account will unload the trailer using rollers.
- Unloading is ground level which requires climbing in and out of the trailer as necessary so do get some very nice exercise to help you stay healthy.
Drivers will average around 1700 miles per week while being home every week and still make a lot more money then OTR drivers who stay out 3 weeks and have to drive 3000 miles a week. Drivers will run an average of 3 to 4 loads per week with an average of 4 to 6 stops per load.
PAY: Average Weekly Earnings: You are paid mileage pay, and pay per load plus safe and on time bonus. You can earn up to .68 CPM per mile based on experience plus stop pay.
Pay Breakdown: $320 per load average of 3 loads a week with an average of just 3 stops per load = $960 before you ever drive even one mile. + Mileage pay (1700 X .68 = $1156) = around $2116 per week based on experience + additional bonuses for on time deliveries, safe driver incentives etc. That is some pretty darn good money for a home weekly job.

REQUIREMENTS: Class A CDL with at least 3 to 6 months Tractor Trailer Experience in the last 3 years. Experience must be tractor trailer experience with trailers over 40 feet in length.
