Home time consists of 34 to 48 hours and usually occurs between Saturday evening and Monday morning
Drivers are paid per mile, per trip and per stop – and can make up to $75,000 per year. The average driver
makes between $65,000 – $75,000 and will be provided with a comprehensive benefit package. (Full benefits)
A driver usually makes 3 or 5 trips per week – and each trip will include 3 or 5 delivery stops.

1800 Miles (avg. per week) x $0.42/Mile = $756.00

This job is for the The Dollar General dedicated account and consists of picking up loaded trailers at the retail distribution center and delivering to stores throughout Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin. A driver usually makes 3 or 5 trips per week – and each trip will include 3 or 5 delivery stops. You will have to touch freight for this job, but you are paid GREAT to do so. (This job is NOT with US Xpress)
The deliveries require the driver to utilize “rolltainers” which are wheeled carts used to transfer the product from the trailer into the stock room of the store. Loaded rolltainers can often be heavy, and some boxes need to be repositioned or transferred by other means. Drivers need to be prepared for the physicality of the position The bottom line is you don’t have to drive 3000 miles a week to make $1400 a week. You can drive around 1500 miles a week and make almost as much for the stops and unload pay so you do for driving. Meanwhile you are getting paid to get some exercise and keep your heart healthy.

Qualifications: Class A CDL with at least Six months in the last 36 months, 3 or more states verifiable logs and subject to FMCSR of Class A Tractor Trailer Experience. The more experience you have the more we pay you. Fairly clean MVR and background, must be able to pass a drug test.
