We have limited number of jobs open for Freight Handlers who want to be home every day.

Your job would be unloading inbound trailers and loading outbound equipment for customer delivery.

You would inspect and assemble items necessary to make a delivery to the end-user. On occasion, the Freight Handler may need to accompany the driver on a customer delivery. Duties and responsibilities for Freight Handlers include: · Inspection of product for damages and reporting of damages to supervisor. · Assembly of product prior to loading for customer delivery. · Complete required unload and inspection reports. · Other duties as assigned.

Our preferred Freight Handlers: · High School diploma/GED or relevant work experience required. · Valid motor vehicle driver’s license. (Does not have to be a Class A License)· Prior terminal or warehouse experience preferred but will look at all applications.

Good communication and listening skills · Good attention to detail · Must be able to read and write in English · Must be able to use a handheld scanner · Must be able to read instructions to properly assemble goods · Ability to develop effective working relationships with other workers and supervisors · Ability to follow directions, complete tasks accurately and on time. · Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.

Pay is based on experience.  You could average from $8.00 up to $16.00 an hour or more based on your experience plus overtime pay when available.  Full time freight handlers will be eligible for full health benefits after 90 days.
